North Bay NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) is an organization that promotes and helps develop contractors to assure that your customers get the best the industry has to offer. Our motto is “We Build EPIC Contractors”–Ethical, Professional, Informed and Connected. NARI has many benefits, such as networking, branding, educational programs and certification programs, all of which can and will help you run and grow your business.
Additionally, NARI is not limited just to contractors. Our membership includes marketing experts, attorneys, business consultants, and insurance experts, all of whom specialize in the construction industry and can help you manage and grow your business.
We encourage you to attend our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of the month. Dates and times are available on this website. We are sure that you’ll find our meetings educational, informative and fun. We’d be delighted to meet you.

The Sonoma State University School of Extended Education offers a Construction Management Certificate Program begins in February
Wednesday January 18th from 6-7 PM: information meeting, Schultz 1121, SSU
This Certificate Program provides education and training for contractors, subcontractors, project managers, superintendents, owner representatives, design professionals, and anyone interested in advancing a career in the construction industry. The faculty are all highly experienced in various professions occupations and have outstanding teaching abilities. All courses are offered on a credit/no credit basis for Continuing Education Units (CEU). To qualify for the Certificate, students must successfully complete 240 hours of classroom instruction. Most of the courses in this Certificate Program are 30 hours and are offered in the evenings.
New courses begin again in February. There are three courses being offered: California Labor and Employment Law; California Construction Law; Profitable Construction Business. The Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the Redwood Empire Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) have established a scholarship for students in Construction Management Certificate Program. If you are awarded a scholarship, one course fee will be waived. Applications are distributed in class at the beginning of each semester and must be returned to your instructor before the last class.
